Which smartglasses do you have availble?

Created with Sketch.

Proven quality brands like Vuzix, Realwear and Irisstick are instantly available with our software. However we are constantly testing with new brand. Please call our support for more information.

What is the minimum bandwidth requirement?

Created with Sketch.

You can videostream in low resolution on a 512/128Kbps 1:10 VSAT satellite connection. Which means the minimum requirment is 51,2/12,8Kbps on a 240p video resolution. Of course the experience and functions are optimized on higher bandwidth profiles (satellite) and 4G/LTE. Please contract our support if you need more information about connectivity solutions or technical information.

What is the latency requirement?

Created with Sketch.

You can use the software with all available carriers. This means that we can work with 700Ms latency in the internet connection, which is a typical, maximum latency for VSAT Ka/Ku/C band.

Latency for 4G/LTE carriers is approx 25Ms, so that is also the best connection to use.

What kind of internet connection do I need?

The smartglass and our platform operate on all mobile carriers availble. It works on:

- Satellite internet (VSAT)
- 4G/LTE mobile internet
- 5G mobile internet

Does it operate on L-band (Inmarsat or Iridium)?

Created with Sketch.

No, not yet. We have tested this with Inmarsat in the past. But the firewalls won't let us through. Bandwidth wise it could be possible though. Once we have Inmarsat and Iridium convinced, the possibilities to have a pole-to-pole remote survey platform would be great! Contact us if you need more information about Inmarsat or Iridium L-band.

What is the data usage per hour?

Do you work with packages that combine your software and connectivity?

Created with Sketch.

Yes we have. Only on 4G/LTE though. Because our clients use a lot of data we have special deals with the providers.

For satellite connections there are many specialized companies which we can connect you with if needed. Contact our support for the best solution?

Yes! We have a broad experience with connecting devices in the vessels engineroom. We have our own connectivitykit that creates a local Wi-Fi network with 4G/LTE or you can connect it to a Wi-Fi accesspoint that is available on the vessel.

Which browser can I use?
